Aims:

To help the suffering alcoholic or problem drinker recover from alcoholism.

Services provided:

  • Twenty four hour helpline – Supports newcomers, provides a local contact to escort them to a meeting of AA
  • Public information service – Liason with professional and voluntary community and provides the opportunity of presentations (including personal experiences) to all community services ie. schools, health, addiction agencies, employees etc
  • Prisons – Provides AA meetings, visits and literature etc.

Opening hours:

Office hours are Monday – Friday, 9.00am – 5.30pm, while the helpline can be accessed 24 hours a day (0800 9177 650).
