Supporting people with mental health issues in Stirling & District


  • To increase social awareness and understanding of mental health
  • To improve the quality of life for clients and carers by assisting them through appropriate services and projects
  • To ensure services and projects are at all times relevant to the client’s needs through client participation
  • To assist in the development of innovative services and projects, alternative to those services provided by Health and Social Services agencies in the statutory sector.


  • Adult befriending service: Volunteer Befrienders offer a one-to-one supportive friendship (Aged 18 - 65)
  • Young Persons' Befriending Service: A Service for young people between the ages of 12 and 18 who are lonely, isolated or experiencing difficulty with day-to-day life
  • Home Support Service: Clients are supported at home and given advice & information on every day living issues
  • Counselling Service: One to one counselling is offered up to twelve sessions. sessions.
  • Money and Benefits Advice Service: Assistance is given with home budget management and benefits claims
  • Rural Access Service: Clients living in rural areas are supported at home
    Drop-In and Groups Service: Peer Support and Groups Hub Service - focuses on peer support and group activities such as health and well-being, social activities, developing new skills, mental health self-management etc.
  • Volunteering Opportunities: There are many opportunities for people to volunteer with one of  Action in Mind services.


Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm
Open late on Tuesdays.
