Following SAIF guidelines will help to cut down requests for information in alternative formats. However, service organisations should:

  • put a statement on all their publications that the information is available in alternative formats,
  • have a system in place to respond, in good time, to requests for information in an alternative format.
  • Review your system in the light of emerging technologies.
