1.6 Layout and Printing

Layout

  • Short Paragraphs
  • Bulleted or numbered lists
  • At least 1.15 spacing between lines of text
  • At least double-spacing between paragraphs
  • Normal to wide margins.
  • Left Alignment. Using left alignment means that the text will have an even left margin and a ragged right margin.

This type of layout creates blank space between lines of text paragraphs and margins that is often called “white space”. It can help to make documents easier to read.

Printing

  • Consideration of the colour contrast between text and background
  • Matt/silk paper
  • Good Quality Paper
