Aims:

The Vegetarian Society is a charity that exists to influence, inspire and support people to embrace amd maintain a vegetarian lifestyle.  Being vegetarian is a choice that is kinder to animals, to people and to our living planet.  As an independent organisation, they work constructively with businesses, government agencies, policy makers and professionals to support and represent all vegetarians.  They are a charity that receives no government funding, so they rely on membership subscriptions and donations to carry out their vital work. 

The Vegetarian member’s magazine is produced quarterly.

Services provided:

They produce information online and resources, their cookery school provides courses for amateur cooks and professional caterers, they organise National Vegetarian Week, and they have their Vegetarian Society Approved trademark scheme.
