To take children and young people with disabilities or special needs on pilgrimage holidays to Lourdes in France.
Every Easter, the Trust takes thousands of children aged 7 – 11 with disabilities or special needs on a pilgrimage holiday to Lourdes in France.
The children go on pilgrimages in small groups, like families, with experienced volunteer helpers, many of whom are young people, with volunteer doctors, nurses and chaplains to give specialist support.
From April to October, the Trust also organises pilgrimage holidays for people of all ages with disabilities and families with terminally ill children at Hosanna House, a specially equipped home in the mountains outside Lourdes.
The Trust has a property, the Bartres Villa. The villa offers self catering accommodation and extends the work of the trust to a wider range of pilgrims. It is situated in the village on Bartres, 3kms from Lourdes and can be booked by individuals.
