Local disability information and advice service for people living in Edinburgh

aims:

To provide a free, confidential and independent information service to disabled people, their carers and family and organisations working with disabled people.

services provided:

Provide information on

  • any disability matter, including equipment, transport, housing, employment, holidays, social work services, and much more. Information can be provided in accessible formats.
  • disability benefits and can help with filling in Personal Independence Payment (PIP) or Attendance Allowance application forms at our offices in Norton Park, 57 Albion Road, Edinburgh
  • Offer community based talks on disability benefits
  • RADAR keys available at the cost of £3.00 and if you would like one posted out it will be £3.50

In the E Library you will find a series of factsheets and publications from Grapevine (link to E-Library). This includes current and past editions of Lothian Disability News– the quarterly newsletter.

Grapevine also produces a range of information leaflets.

A message can be left on the 24 hour answering service, or an email can be sent to grapevine@lothiancil.org.uk or online form.  (where ever possible Grapevine will respond to any enquiries for information and advice within one working day).
