Florabank care home was set up in 1984 and exists to provide residential care for elderly Christians in an atmosphere of love, peace and quiet serenity. Situated in a residential area of Haddington in its own extensive grounds of more than an acre, the home has 21 rooms, 17 are en-suite, two of which can be used for double occupancy if required. The home has two floors with a lift, two stairs and a stairlift serving the upper floor. There is a communal lounge, a south facing conservatory overlooking the garden and a dining room.
The Christian aspect of the home is the most important to us and the trustees are all active Christians as are a number of the staff. While the happy atmosphere in the home is distinctly Christian the home is available to all.
There are also two self contained one bedroom flats attached to the building and the occupants of these can make use of the facilities of the home.
Respite places available depending on occupancy. A referral is not necessary if private funding.
To be discussed.
Residential and emergency respite available.
