Description of service:

Dundee Independent Living Centre has:

  • access to a wide range of information on equipment and services for people with a disability
  • on display equipment that may help to overcome a variety of difficulties
  • advice and information on practical ways of overcoming your problem.

Respite Services:-
The Centre is purpose built to meet the needs of people with physical disabilities. Staff are fully trained and have access to a wide variety of hoists, bathing and toileting aids.

Dundee Physical Disability Resource Team:-
A service for people who have a physical disability or progressive illness, aged between sixteen and sixty five, and their carers, living in the city of Dundee. Help and support is given in areas such as – learning to cope with disability, personal relationships, stress and maintaining independence.

The Skills Centre:-
Provides a wide range of activities for people to become involved in to explore and expand interests and knowledge. Areas include sport and recreation, computer graphics, art, music, fabric and crafts.
