Established in 1999, Ability Fest has become the No.1 annual event which offers unique benefits to the disabled community, employers and support organisations in Glasgow and the West of Scotland and surrounding areas.
Aims:
- To promote social inclusion by raising awareness about disability issues relating to lifelong learning, education, training, employment and leisure
- To act as a focus for networking among agencies that offer support to disabled people in relation to lifelong learning, education, training, leisure activities, volunteering and employment
- To provide opportunities for discussion, networking and information dissemination between disabled people, carers and service providers by organising regular events.
