Aims:

  • They want society to respect, value and support carers.
  • They believe that no one should have to care alone.
  • They campaign the policy makers to improve conditions for carers and those they care for.

Services provided:

  • Carers Scotland helps carers and campaigns to make their lives better
  • Influencing government regarding policies that affect carers
  • Training courses on carer related issues
  • Giving information, advice and support to carers and organisations
  • Raising awareness through research on specific issues
  • Encouraging  individuals and organisations to join and bring their voices and      experiences to our campaigning.

Membership costs:

Online membership is free to carers and former carers – call Carers Scotland for further information.   Affiliate information is available to organisations
