Aims:
To provide self-catering holidays for disabled, disadvantaged or elderly people cruising on the Kennet and Avon Canal.
Services provided:
The Bruce Trust has been providing self-steer holidays on purpose built, wide beam canal boats on the Kennet and Avon Canal for twenty-five years and during that time over 16,500 disabled people, together with their carers, have been able to enjoy participative holidays.
The Trust caters for a wide variety of special needs, including elderly people from a wide variety of backgrounds as well as mentally and physically disabled people.
Provides a choice of specially designed purpose built wide beam canal boats: they have 2 10 berth boats and 1 12 berth boat.
Cost:
Prices range from £1200 – £1800 per week.
