Firstport is Scotland’s development agency for start-up social enterprise.
They support individuals with great business ideas that benefit people, communities and the environment. They offer free business support, resources and training through the Just Enterprise programme, to help individuals get started.
Their start-up awards offer two different levels to help budding entrepreneurs pilot and grow their social enterprise idea. The awards distribute money from the Social Entrepreneurs Fund.
They also run a variety of programmes across Scotland to get more people from more places starting social enterprises.
