Disability West Lothian are a user-led organisation, active in West Lothian since 1976, promoting the ideals of the Social Model of Disability.
They need disabled people to join them, they need volunteers, to come on board, help them to tackle discrimination, help them to help others make better use of resources, help their communities improve their access and improve attitudes.
Equality Resource Zone:
- They help businesses and services improve their accessibility and customer service
- They supply local support and equipment to ensure compliance with legal duties
- They deliver training which includes: - equality; inclusion; access; communication; confidence and capacity building, plus more
- They organise workshops, consultations and conferences.
