Deafblind Scotland supports deafblind people’s personal and professional networks and influences statutory services and policy.

Services provided:

Deafblind Scotland are running a project called “Connect to Welfare Rights”, which is aiming to make welfare rights more accessible for deafblind and visually impaired adults.
The projects aims to:

  • Provide welfare rights information in different formats
  • Provide advice and support
  • Assist with completing forms/li>
  • Carry out benefit checks
  • Maximise income
  • Raise awareness within communities
  • Challenge inequality

The project is being run across the West of Scotland including; Glasgow, North Lanarkshire, South Lanarkshire, East Dunbartonshire, West Dunbartonshire, Renfrewshire, and East Renfrewshire.
