Services provided:
The Borders Ability Equipment Service provides a range of equipment to people across the Borders aiming to maximise independence and mobility. The service is for anyone of any age whose independence and mobility is limited because of a physical disability, frailty or ill-health. This includes children with a disability.
They are not a direct access service, they are not currently set-up to take direct referrals or visits from the general public.
If you are eligible for a service, a personal support plan will be agreed with you to meet your needs.
