Three national activity centres:

1. Fordell Firs National Activity Centre – Fife – a 48 acre site surrounded by woodland with areas of sheltered grass. Situated approx 2 miles by road from Dunfermline, 15 miles from Edinburgh, 25 miles from Perth and 45 miles from Glasgow. Inverkeithing Railway Station is 1 mile away with regular connections to Edinburgh and other mainline stations to the north. Dalgety Bay Railway Station is only ½ mile away as well. Campsite and 58 bed accommodation, is not fully accessible. The 40 bed Henderson Chalet has full disabled access and is now fitted with a chairlift. Especially good activities for all ages, including abseiling, archery and orienteering.

2. Lochgoilhead Centre – Argyll – a 150 bed centre with dormitory and en-suite lodge accommodation. One lodge is fully accessible. Fully catered resort with accessible water and land based activities.

3. Meggernie – Glen Lyon – Campsite and 30 bed self catering accommodation in a spectacular Highland setting. Part of a working estate. The Centre provides a range of activities and is ideal for environmental education.

FACILITIES & SERVICES:
These not-for-profit centres welcome not only scout groups but schools, youth groups and community organisations.
Corporate and team building events are also catered for.
