Aims:

The Rock Trust works in Edinburgh and the Lothians with young people between the ages of 16- 25 who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.

Their role is to advise, educate and support young people. They want to enable them to build the personal skills and resources required to make a positive and healthy transition to adulthood, while avoiding or moving on from homelessness.

Services provided:

They provide:

  • Advice service available through duty worker (drop in service, no need to book)
  • One to one support, at our offices or at the young person’s accommodation
  • Group programmes, including sport, gardening, cooking etc.
  •  Opportunities for volunteering and work experience
  • A respite place to stay, for those who need time away from their situation
  • Supported housing in shared or single accommodation 

Opening hours:

The Rock Trust is open Monday – Friday, 8.45am – 5pm

The drop in Duty service is available in the Edinburgh office from 9am – 4pm Monday – Friday.

additional information:

55 Albany Street is not accessible for people who use wheelchairs. Induction loop facilities are available.
