Aims:
- To achieve the same human rights for people with learning disabilities that other citizens expect
- To inform and persuade people who do not have learning disabilities to recognise the rights and needs of people with learning disabilities
- To represent the interests of the membership and influence law and policy which impacts on people with learning disabilities.
Services provided:
- Promotion and development of self-advocacy and collective advocacy of people with learning disabilities
- Support and training so that people with learning difficulties can be involved in services, policy and planning
- Conferences to promote the rights and needs of people with learning difficulties
- Provision of information.
