- To prevent death and disability resulting from meningitis and septicaemia by promoting awareness of the disease and by working with families affected
- To raise funds for research into its prevention, detection and treatment.
services provided:
- Freefone helpline (operating Monday-Friday 9am-5pm) giving information to the public and offering support to those who have been affected by meningitis and septicaemia
- Working in partnership with families who have been affected by meningitis to raise funds for research into its prevention, detection and treatment
- Working alongside health professionals to provide information and help with early detection and prompt effective treatment of meningitis and septicaemia
- The promotion of research into the prevention, detection and treatment of all types of meningitis and associated infections.

Membership:
Scotland has a growing network of families and individuals with personal experience of meningitis and septicaemia, who have become members of the Foundation. Membership is free, contact the organisation for further details.
