Alliance of organisations which support people with long-term health conditions

Previously known as:

The Long Term Conditions Alliance Scotland (LTCAS)

Aims:

To bring together hundreds of voluntary and community organisations across Scotland to give a national voice to ensure the interests and needs of people living with long term conditions are addressed.

Services provided:

The Alliance works to influence policy and practice to improve the lives of people living with long term conditions. The Alliance works closely with Scottish Government to develop policy on long term conditions and self management. The Alliance also raises awareness among politicians of the issues affecting people with long term conditions.

The Alliance provides support and information to organisations across Scotland that support or represent people living with long term conditions. It also maintains a network of over 250 people from across sectors with an interest in long term conditions.

All of The Alliance’s work is informed by the views, experience and expertise of people living with long term conditions.
