To improve the access to local services and raise awareness in their community.
Services provided:
By working together with the community and local businesses Harris Disability Access Panel:
- undertake onsite inspections, highlighting any access problems and offer possible solutions
- get involved in the building developments from the planning stage and work with the architects to ensure all aspects of access are covered
- regularly meet with other panels and organisations
- keep informed with news and regulations
- always available to provide information and visit premises on request.
