Aims:
To ensure that individuals do not suffer through lack of knowledge of their rights and responsibilities or of the services available, or through an inability to express their needs effectively.
Services provided:
Provide free, impartial, independent and confidential information and advice. Also provides an outreach service to Milngavie, Bishopbriggs, Twecher, Auchinairn, Meiklehill and Lennoxtown. Offices are based in Milngavie (0141 775 3220), and Bishopbriggs (0141 563 0220).
Can carry out home visits.
Opening hours:
Monday 10.00am – 3.00pm and 5.00pm – 7.00pm
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 10.00am – 3.30pm
Friday, 10.00am – 3.00pm
Saturday, 10.00am – 12.00pm.
Additional information:
The bureau is custom built and has access for disabled people. There are thirty five volunteers and number of paid staff including two money advice workers and an older persons worker.
