Customers across Scotland are being urged to follow Scottish Water’s winter code – protect your pipes, be prepared and heat, insulate and protect your home and business this winter.

Top tips include: finding your stop valve, leave heating on a low setting, making sure pipes and water tanks are properly insulated and, if properties are vacant over the winter months, turn off your water supply and drain the system.
