Music festivals in Scotland – Disabled access and facilities Picture of festival goers sitting on the grass

The summer music festival season is once again upon us and whether you are a seasoned festival goer or it’s your first time, we have put together some accessibility information on a number of music festivals in Scotland.

You can search for a more comprehensive list of Music Festivals in Scotland or the UK Festival Calendar 2017.

If details of the festival that you are interested in isn’t listed in our selection, check their festival website or contact the festival organiser directly for accessibility details.

Also check out our new guest blog by Sam Maggs from Gigg Buddies on Accessible Festival Information
for some great tips and information as well as a section on The Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Gig Buddies Scotland are working alongside the Fringe Festival to continue making the festival more accessible each year.

If you do fancy travelling further, Festival Spirit is a charity providing the full festival experience to young people who would not normally be able to attend and enjoy due to life-limiting illness or disability. They help people to attend a festival safe in the knowledge that they will have the facilities, support and back up necessary for their condition. This year they will be at Wychwood Festival, WOMAD Festival and Wilderness Festival.
