Mental health at University
University can be an amazing adventure but can also bring pressures you may not have experienced before. With your family and usual support system not around you, it may feel overwhelming. If at any time you feel stressed or feel like you can’t cope, don’t be silent. You will be surprised to find that there are many sources of help.
Your university will have its own support in place but The Guardian published an article providing a guide to who to go to for help and covers Nightline, Student Minds, GP, NHS, Counsellors and mentors. So no matter what problem you have there will be someone to listen.
