Disabled Access Day

It all started in 2015 when Disabled Access Day was created to celebrate access. Sponsored by Euan’s Guide, the day highlights existing accessible environments within the UK, and encourages businesses, organisation and venues to sign up to the event. This creates opportunities for people to try different activities and visit new places.

For 2017, Disabled Access Day will be taking place across a whole weekend. From the 10th – 12th  of March, so put it in your diaries!

To find out who’s celebrating the day near you, search for an event on the Disabled Access Day website.

It’s not too late to sign up your organisation or business to take part in the celebrations. See their website for more information.
