Dundee Flower and Food Festival (31st August – 2nd September)

Now in its 30th year the Festival offers the best in food, horticulture and live entertainment, with a packed weekend including free cookery demonstrations, children’s activities, a craft fair, live entertainment, with the chance to taste and buy a wide range of culinary delights and much more.

With many competitions available to enter it is THE major event in any gardening and foodie calendar.
The Baking Section includes the Dundee Cake Competition, a Royal iced Cake to celebrate the opening of the V&A and a variety of classes covering cakes, biscuits, scones and bread.

The Festival site is relatively flat and is largely short mown grass, the site is therefore accessible for people with a wheelchair or limited mobility. Marquees are wheelchair accessible but are largely unfloored.
Due to the open nature of the site, if there have been periods of heavy rain in the run up to the Festival this can cause the terrain to become more difficult to navigate with a wheelchair.

Accessible toilets are available on site and parking is available closer to the Festival entrance for Blue badge holders.

Manual wheelchairs are available from the Show Office at the Festival entrance. These are available free of charge on a first come, first served basis.
