Drama and Dance for adults and young people with learning disabilities, learning difficulties and mental health issues

Fife Academy of Performing Arts  are providing sessions in all aspects of drama and dance for adults and young people with learning disabilities, learning difficulties and mental health issues in Fife.
They encourage people to take part at their own pace and enjoy every part of their T.A.P experience. Dance and drama offers strong benefits to people with disabilities, providing an opportunity for social integration and encouraging the individuals to achieve their full artistic potential.

Throughout their workshops individuals will have the opportunity to learn to work together, listen to each other and use their imaginations. They use a variety of fun drama games to help to improve understanding of:

  • feelings and emotions
  • facial expression and vocal tone
  • the world around

Each session is run by a fully qualified instructor. Their next session will run from Wednesday 4th May 2017 until Wednesday 8th June 2017 at the studio from 2pm-3pm.
